Research Emphasis: Collaborative research with clinical and basic science researchers; special interest in blood parasites, lipid metabolism and instructional methodologies.

Teaching: Lectures and labs in multiple team taught courses in the veterinary curriculum including: Veterinary Systemic Pathology, Veterinary Clinical Pathology and the required Diagnostic Pathology clinical rotation. Course Coordinator for Veterinary Clinical Pathology. Faculty facilitator for Problem Based Learning elective. Coordinator of elective clinical rotations in Clinical Pathology. Graduate: Lectures and discussions in Advanced Clinical Pathology and Mechanisms of Disease. Clinical Pathology Resident training.
