The Anatomic Pathology section delivers timely, accurate diagnostic answers by examining tissues, organs and biopsies to determine the cause of disease. As Missouri’s only laboratory performing complete necropsies on all animal species, our team provides the detailed evaluations needed to resolve complex cases and support confident clinical decisions. In addition to necropsies and biopsies, we offer specialized testing such as immunohistochemistry, including chronic wasting disease and BVD ear-notch testing, to help identify disease early and guide individual patient care and herd-health management.
