Avian Pathology provides diagnostic support for birds of all species through whole-bird evaluation and targeted testing to identify disease, protect flock health and guide confident decision-making. Full avian necropsies allow our team to assess gross and microscopic findings and select appropriate laboratory tests, including histopathology, culture and avian PCR panels. The section also supports disease surveillance and outbreak detection, including identification of reportable avian diseases such as avian influenza, with consultation available to help veterinarians and bird owners respond effectively.
