Test description

  • Complete necropsy of 1 animal. Additional animals, up to 3, will be discounted 50% of the regular fee.
  • Includes all necessary tests (excluding toxicology) at the pathologist’s discretion.
  • Limit 1 PCR panel or 4 individual PCR tests, 2 cultures and 2 susceptibilities per case.
  • Additional testing not listed will be an extra charge.

  • Best results are obtained from fresh specimens.

  • If possible (depending on the size of the animal), refrigerate or use cold packs.

NOTE: An additional $100 fee may be added for emergency/after-hours necropsy at the pathologist’s discretion.

Turnaround timeAfter conclusion of testing; at 5 business days report with histopathology.
