Test descriptionPanel includes the following:
  • Histopathology of fixed tissue (small and large intestine)

  • Fecal flotation

  • Aerobic bacterial culture for E. coli and Campylobacter jejuni (distal jejunum/ ileum preferred). Limit 2 susceptibilities per case.

  • Anaerobic culture: Clostridium perfringens (jejunum preferred)

  • PCR:
    Canine: Canine Coronavirus (CCoV), Canine Parvovirus (CPV) and Canine Distemper Virus (CDV)
    Feline: Feline Enteric Coronavirus (FCoV), Feline Parvovirus (FPV), Rotavirus A, and Tritrichomonas
    Charge is for testing of one animal. Up to three from the same group may be tested on the same case, each additional animal will be 50% off. Additional testing not listed will be an extra charge.
