Special submission instructionsIf suspect systemic mycoses:
  • Call the lab to inform of shipment
  • Label the submission form and primary container “High Risk”.
  • Label the outside of the shipping container “Special Handling”.
  • Ship tissues, fluids, and swabs with cold packs.
