  • Screw-top tube or Whirl-Pak containing at least 3 ml of milk; airtight sealed container with at least 5 g of mammary tissue
  • Cultures may be submitted on an agar slant, sealed plate, or on a swab with transport media but will be re-isolated and identified prior to running a susceptibility.
Special submission instructions
  • Milk samples may be frozen for submission.
  • Ship with cold packs.
