- Swabs must be kept moist; use viral transport media or place swab in red top tube with 1-2 ml sterile saline.

- Submit only 2-3 tablespoons of feces. Do not submit fecal samples in gloves/disposable sleeves. Samples submitted in gloves/sleeves or other inappropriate containers will incur a $30 surcharge.
