Rabies Antibody Non-Export Testing

Veterinarians may consider rabies antibody titer checks in certain situations. Titer checks for the core vaccines (including rabies) can be beneficial for pets who have experienced severe adverse reactions to vaccines or have other health issues that would preclude vaccination.

Please follow the guidance below to submit a sample for Rabies Antibody Non-Export testing.

Sample requirements
  • 0.5 – 2.0 mL of clear serum in an unbreakable tube labeled with the animal’s First and Last Name and/or identification number (if needed).
