Test Description | An indirect immunofluorescent assay for the detection of IgG antibodies to feline enteric coronaviruses (FECV), including feline infectious peritonitis (FIP) virus. A titer of 1:400 indicates either ‘exposure’ to FIP or an infection with FECV. A titer of 1:6400 indicates the likelihood of an active FIP infection but should be interpreted in conjunction with clinical signs. |
